Hotel with a view to die for.
The view from the Rooftop Restaurant and Swimming Pool overlooking the Pyramids was amazing. Rooms are very modern and spotlessly clean. The room we were allocated had a small window with no view, however it was ideal as it was located at the rear of the building which was quiet with no road noise thus allowing a good night's sleep. We had read reviews about the privacy of the bathroom as it was all glass but we did not find this to be a problem as roller blinds are fitted and can be drawn which gives all the privacy needed. The staff deserve credit for their friendly and helpful manner. Breakfast had a good selection for all nationalities and the Restaurant Menu was reasonably priced, with good sized portions. Again we read reviews regarding ongoing building works, but the work tended to be carried out during the day with minimal disruption. There are plenty shops in the area with a Carrefour Supermarket approximately 3 minute walk away. On our last day, having a late afternoon flight, there was a storage room available for us to leave our luggage. If we were ever returning to Cairo would definitely stay in the Pyramid Front Hotel.
There are only 6 sunbeds around the pool area. However there is a large upper terrace where more sunbeds could be accommodated on this level. A hairdryer is not available in the room but understand on contacting Reception one could be supplied. I feel a hairdryer really should be made available in all rooms. I had brought my own in case none were available.
